An alliance of Igbo youth gatherings and Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide (OYC) have embraced two government officials from the southeast for the administration in 2023.

In an announcement after their joint gathering in Abakiliki, the Ebonyi state capital on Saturday, August 16, suggested the pastor of science and innovation, Dr Ogbonnaya Onu, and the Ebonyi state lead representative, David Umahi as the best Igbo possibility to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari, The Nation revealed.

As per their announcement, they defended their proposals on the contention that both Onu and Umahi were straightforward in administration notwithstanding having demonstrated histories of accomplishments.

The adolescent gatherings praised Umahi as the best performing lead representative in the southeast locale with proof of infrastructural advancement in Ebonyi state.

Then again, they portrayed Onu as an accomplished government official who assumed a key job in the merger of three ideological groups that framed APC.

“These are the best presidential materials and competitors Igbo young people present to Nigerians right now,” the gatherings said.

They clarified that that other more qualified Igbo legislators who are equipped for challenging for the administration are either dealing with debasement indictments or come up short on the structure to realize their aspirations.

In the interim, Bayo Osiyemi, a previous boss press secretary to Governor Lateef Jakande of Lagos, has joined those soliciting for Bola Tinubu administration.

Osiyemi who said he has never been energetic about any Nigerian lawmaker after Chief Obafemi Awolowo and Jakande, the manner in which he has taken to Tinubu, is of the supposition that the previous Lagos state lead representative can fix the difficulties right now saw in the nation.
