The Kogi State government has said the demise of Attah Igala, Michael Ameh Oboni II, is a great loss to the state and Nigeria.
An announcement by the Magistrate for Data and Correspondence Technique, Mr. Kingsley Fanwo, reported the entry of the ruler yesterday in Lokoja, the state capital.
Fanwo said the late ruler governed with incredible boldness and with the dread of God during his seven-year remain on the seat.
The News Office of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Oboni was, until his demise in an Abuja emergency clinic on August 27, the administrator of the State Committee of Bosses.
Fanwo said the late Attah was faithful to his kin all through his lifetime and utilized his seat to encourage fellowships and organizations for his area and for Kogi State.
“The administration will keep on regarding the memory of this sober minded pioneer by supporting fast advancement as the bedrock of administration in Kogi State.
“His royal majesty, Michael Idakwo Ameh Oboni II will be really missed.
“We condole with his family, the wonderful Igala people and all of Kogi State on this collosal loss the announcement said.
NAN reports that the late Michael Ameh Oboni II, given birth to in 1948 and passed away last Thursday morning in Abuja.
